London Bridge Potting Shed
Our client the Team London Bridge contacting us to create a Potting Shed for the gardeners who tend the Melior Street Community Garden. A site they’ve created in a previously abandoned space. Putting Down Roots are the gardening team and they are a group of homeless people working under the supervision of a trained gardener.
Some before and after images below. A huge transformation and a good example of the way in which container conversions can be used.
The conversion was quite simple incorporating providing a new high security personnel door, electrics for the lights and sockets, racking and a window with security shutters. On the roof are a series of C section angles designed to stop homeless people from sleeping on there! The exterior was then painted with green stripes to assist helping the Potting Shed to blending in.
