Shipping Containers
Mr Box supplies both second-hand and new cargo-worthy shipping containers in a range of sizes and designs, for sale, on a world-wide basis.
There are numerous designs of shipping container, but 95% are what are termed dry van containers, which carry general freight. There are also Refrigerated container designs for transporting either deep frozen or chilled cargoes, and another section of what are generally called Special containers (see below) - many of which are specifically designed for certain cargoes. All shipping containers must all conform to international standards such as ISO, UIC, TIR, and CSC, and Mr Box can advise you on the right type of container for your needs.
New Shipping Containers
Because Mr Box have direct relationships with the factories not only can we offer a competitive price, but we can also control the build quality. Using our on line inspectors situated in the container factories, we specify a customer's exact requirements and ensure they are met.
We can order batches of shipping containers direct from factory and organise the positioning to your chosen location. Repositioning can either be organised via what is called Cabotage or as Freight:
Cabotage is when the shipping containers are loaded with clean boxed cargoes and then shipped to your destination, the cargo is then discharged and the container delivered the customer.
Freight is when the shipping containers are loaded on a vessel, without cargo, and delivered as required. Obviously the use of cabotage saves significant costs.
Used Shipping Containers
Our second-hand containers are guaranteed structurally sound and certified as suitable for shipping.
All our new containers have the following specification:
