Shipping & Storage Containers

Mr Box supplies a selection of containers for sale or hire, new and used, in varying sizes and specification. They fall into two basic categories:

New Containers

Built to our own specification and imported into the UK from our factories in China. Suitable as either secure storage units, or shipping containers.

Used/Second-hand Containers

Guaranteed structurally sound and suitable as secure storage units.

All our containers have:

High tensile anti-corrosion corten steel construction.
Double opening doors on one end fitted with locking bars and locking catches.
Marine ply floors tested to ISO standards.
Ventilators for air circulation.
Anti theft padlock cowls.

Shipping Containers/CSC Plated

Guaranteed structurally sound and CSC plated as being suitable for shipping cargo. All containers are built in accordance to ISO standards, and as such are safe, secure and durable. They are also capable of being stacked on top of each other, and the majority of the 10 and 20-foot containers have forklift pockets.

If a shipping container is being used for shipping cargo, rather than for storage, it must conform to international standards such as ISO, TIR, and the Container Safety Code. All the containers we supply for shipping purposes are inspected and certified as complying to these standards. We provide both new and second hand standard dry van containers as well as a range of other units.

Special Containers

Multi-compartmental storage container

20 foot unit divided internally into 4 separate compartments, or 40 foot unit divided into 8 separate compartments. Each internal compartment is fitted with it's own high security lockable external door.
