Canary Wharf - Dockland Light Railway Bridge extension Container Conversion
Our client a major Civil Engineering Company asked us to supply containers to act a support for the new bridge they were installing at Canary Wharf in London. The new bridge was necessary because the Line's capacity is being increased from 2 to 3 carriages, and due to the extra carriages the bend in the original bridge was too small and needed increasing. This requires a new bridge and our containers were used to support the bridge sections during construction. The customer requirement was for well maintained containers (free of any damages), and built with sufficient loading to take the this bridge weight.
Mr Box builds all our containers to very highest of international standards, and unlike many of our competitors Mr Box containers are capable of being stacked 9 high on a vessel at sea while each loaded with 30 tonnes of cargo! Additionally because we contract directly with our factories we are also able to provide the customer with the original Certification to verify this.
