Covered Workshop with Apex Roof and Stores Container Conversion
Our client who specialises in ground care and site maintenance for government installations asked us for to design a facility for storing and servicing their grounds care equipment. They wanted 2 secure stores that were well ventilated, and a covered area for cleaning and maintaining the machines. The installation was to be sited on a military installation and needed to fulfil some fairly strict criteria.
We designed an Apex Roof fabricated from box section steel, and covered with a see through anti-shatter polycarbonate sheeting and then fully sealed. The roof assembly then secured to the existing corner castings of the containers via locking stacking cones built into the roof frame.
Because of the design, installation was very simple, the roof was simply lifted into place by the hiab truck that delivered the container stores.
