Sliding Roof Container Conversion
We were contracted by a supplier of wood fuel and other biomass heating equipment in the UK to produce specially adapted containers for use as a boiler houses for energy plants. Our customer supplies and installs wood chip, wood pellet, and log heating systems in the size range 5kW to 5MW.
The containerized units save valuable space within buildings and are fully assembled at their factory, then simply delivered on site tested and ready to go. The boilers burn a variety of fuels that are normally delivered in pellet form. The containers have 2 sections: a fuel storage area, and a boiler room . The fuel is delivered in pellet form and the containers were equipped with a sliding roof section that allows to fuel to be tipped directly into the storage area.
Because the construction is modular they can be assembled in a matter of days keeping costs down and minimising on-site disruption.
