Water Purification Plant Container Conversion
Our client who provides Water Engineering Solutions for the oil and gas industry needed a converted container to house a water purification plant. The container will be shipped overseas with the plant inside so all modifications needed to meet strict shipping regulations such as CSC and TIR. Once the plant will be used to separate oily sludge from water thus purifying the water quality to a standard where it can be put back in to the eco system without causing any damage. The oily sludge is then taken to a separate plant for re-processing.
The container was modified specifically to house the purification plant. These included; two hinged inspection hatches on the roof, a side door, a steel bund for containing any spillages which was recessed in to the floor, a removable access panel in the side along with various other apertures for feeding cables and pipe work in and out of the purification plant.
Because the unit is containerized it can be transported easily and moved to other locations as necessary.
